Hey, I'm new to this forum, and I'm thinking of building an ultimate PC for gaming. So, I hope you guys can help me to answer the following questions which I'll be very grateful of...... (no bullshit please *-*)

Motherboard

Brand? MSI, ASUS, or AsRock? and which MODEL?

*Some personal experience will be great :)

Processor

-I'm really looking into Intel's processor, so no AMD please, sorry 'bout that :(

From what I know, i7 has many processor, so which is the best and also worth the price? ;)

Sound Card

Do I still need sound card? I watched many videos online and I didn't see the existence of SOUND CARD......

Video Card

I heard that NVIDIA's TITAN X is now the best in the market (*cough* excluding Quadro M6000 - too pricey)

So, worth it? Or I should take 980 Ti? I'm planning on upgrading those into SLI mode (2-way SLI), so which is better? (Just planning on buy ONE first)

Or should I look into AMD's? (Model?)

SSD

Intel's?

HDD

Western Digital's? How much should I need for a gaming PC?
*Will be grateful if comment comes with personal experience :)))

Power Supply

Which brand? And how many do I need for this build?

Cooling Fan

Which brand? Corsair? Cooler Master? Personal experinece will be grateful :)))

RAM

How much do I need for an ultimate build? 32GB is enough, or I should go for 64, 128, 256, 512 GB of them? Since some of the motherboard have 8-slots for RAM? Corsair Dominator? G-Skill Ripjaw? or other brand that you recommended getting?

Casing

Any ideas?

Mouse

Corsair M65 or Logitech G502 Proteus Core? I mostly play FPS Game (CS:GO, COD, Battlefield Hardline etc.)

Keyboard

Mechanical vs. Chicklet

Is Razer's keyboard good quality? Heard some bad reviews from Amazon *sigh*
Or any other brands, for FPS game?

Headset

I don't have any more budget so I'll stay with my BOSE QuietComfort 15 since it's my birthday gift from my father which he spent a lot in
(P.S. Even if I ask, I don't think I've any suceess rate tho XDD)

Thank you and have a nice day! ;-) XDD

Thanks! But......

1x Titan X vs 2x 980 Ti

One Titan X's price is less than two 980 Ti(s)

So I'll still stick with Titan first, anyway thanks :)

Thanks! But is there compatibiltity problems, as my mom works in DELL before, and I think that she's feeling hard to build a computer due to their compability. My friend built a lot of them and I don't seem there's compability problems, so...is there any?

Another problem: Will 1 980 Ti run 4K games? Or you need two?

I heard that some games doesn't support SLI, which means it only uses your computer's 1st graphic card. With this, Titan X will get the advantage.

Another thing is, can 2 different GPUs run in SLI mode, or you need the same one?
One more thing, if I just into gaming, 1 Titan X will be fine right, without SLI mode...(cuz 1 titan have more upgrade space + 2 980 ti(s) require more money)

Lastly, how long will it take for those GPU get outdated and don't support 4K games and need an upgrade?

Sorry, I'm new into computer so I've a lot of problems to asked, sorry again if you think that I'm annoying... :(

...I just want a decent computer which run games fluently in 60fps...3.9k graphics will be ok for me tho...for less money required to build one...

Here's the thing about advantage: Are you willing to spend $1,000 for a little bit better performance versus ~$650?

You must have the same GPU in order to use SLI - that's only one criteria though. In regards to your last question, I cannot and refuse to answer that definitively as I have no idea.

Thank you, and my mom cut down my budget and forced me to postpone the date I'm building my gaming rig to 2018/2019, so......let's end this topic.

But she's going to buy me a entry level gaming laptop (or a better office use laptop), and I'm planning on buying it December next year (as my UEC result will be announced around mid-December), so I left a link to my new topic, and hope you guys can help out, thanks a lot guys :):P

Peace out, see ya'!
