Microsoft Edge Review Question

Hey Guys, 

 

I am thinking about switching over my browser to Microsoft Edge for 13 days. I was think of putting an LTT Blog Together and recording my 13 day experience. Would this be something that you would follow/ enjoy to see. I will give more details if  I Move forward. Please Provide COmmentary on whether or not you would want to see this.

We did give it a chance, its bad It's not as bad as Internet Explorer by ANY means under the Sun... but it's still pretty bad. Stick with Chrome

its decent, but this far after release its still pretty awful, Ive been using it as my daily driver since release day. Stupid issues like copy/paste not working on sites like these forums and google docs are super annoying. Websites like Vessel, I cant skip around videos using the progress bar. Sometimes on forums (LTT and others) I simply cant type in the reply fields. All these issues Ive reported to MS several times for months.

 

I feel like im in too deep to switch back T.T

I don't think you would end up with enough content every day. After just a day or two you would probably know like 90% of the conclusion. I mean, it's a web browser. Otherwise than features and compatibility there isn't really much else to say. If either of those things end up being an issue for you then you will notice it almost right away.

Try it if you want, but it might be more suitable to try it for 13 days, take notes and then write a single, detailed post about it.

How can you be "in too deep" to switch? It's just a browser. With Firefox I can understand since you can spend lots of time tweaking it to be just the way you want it, but with Edge tweaking basically stops at changing your home page.

It's not good, but it's not bad either. A lot better than IE though.

I'd read it if I found it. Personally I can't stand using Edge but it's interesting to hear what other people think. Edge is probably good for most people, but then again a huge amount of people are perfectly okay with IE 8 as well so...

Even I can't stand Edge until those essential features start rolling in. It's TREESH.
