I have $800 dollars for a build and i dont know whats better the R9 380 or the R9 390

 

Is the only Difference the ram?

R9 390 is better, but don't sacrifice something like your PSU just to get the 390.

I would possibly suggest the 380x and instead upgrade that PSU with the money saved. But that's just my few cents.

the 390 is a high tier card right after the Fury series

 

so pretty much this

 

380 < 390 < Fury < Fury Nano < Fury X

 

RAM only say part of the story

 

the higher series number mean the GPU is more powerful than the lower series

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.
