Hey guys. I have a 860k and a HD5750. As you can see in the links below 860k and HD5750 consume, each one, around 250 watts.

860k http://benchmarks-tests.com/reviews/processors/amd_athlon_x4_860k/power_consumption.php

HD5750 http://www.kitguru.net/components/graphic-cards/zardon/asus-eah5750-formula-radeon-hd-5750-review/10/

So if i do the math i will get 250+250+100(rest)=600 . This means i need a PSU>600W? I know this is not true but i cant understand why.

Thanks for the help

Nope - the 5750 + 860K both at the same time will need only 250W - the 5750 is a VERY efficient card.

Those links don't show each individually. The first includes a 270X in the calculation, the second has a CPU with it. 600 will be plenty fine.

400W is overkill for it - I miss TerraScale :/
