If I have burned a .iso on a USB (*used to install windows on a PC) then I have like 6 folders and a .exe file.

Lets say I need the USB real quick before I start installation, can I put some files on it and then delete them, and the burned file will still function correctly?

Notes:

-File are directly in the drive with the same location as the .exe file but NOT in the folders made by the .iso

-Some files are also under their own folder

(if possible) Can the files still stay there and the installation to take place? Thanks! :)

Yes, you can.

It'll work fine, I do it all the time.

Can the files still stay there even during the installation? Thanks :)

(I added that but you had already responded :D)

Yep! You shouldn't have any issues. I do it all the time. Adding files to the thumb drive doesn't affect the installation.

Thanks!! I always used to delete them, this makes it easier as now I can have setup files for the programs as well.

Thanks everyone, very quick responses and on point :PP

Yes, it will not affect the installation because the installation doesn't call those files. The installation only calls a specific set of files, everything else doesn't matter.

Oh right, yeah that makes sense :))
