#27 My current build: post #27

This is my first rig, I payed for it myself at 13 so I'm kinda proud of myself.

CybertronPc Borg-q 4213b

MSI 760gma p34(fx)

AMD FX 4130

Nvidia Gt740

8gb Patriot Pc3-12800 RAM

Apevia Sniper X-2 Mid-Tower

CoolerMaster SickleFlow 120mm Green LED Fan

Apevia 120mm Green LED Fan

Planning to Add:

ASUS SABERTOOTH 990 in INTEL or AMD format

EVGA Gtx960 SSC ACX 2.0(planning to run in SLI later) or maybe an AMD r9 380x 4gb(again, SLI later is a possibility)

CoolerMaster MasterCase Pro 5

AMD fx 6300 Hexa-Core Processor/ INTEL i5 4690k

CoolerMaster Hydro GTX h110i CPU Water Cooler

Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600mhz (Pc3-12800) 32gb

Can somebody please rate this and give me pointers on upgrades.

Just an fyi, it's crossfire for amd. 2ndly, get the 380x over the 960 for sure. 3rdly, don't get that h110i unless you're going to be doing some major overclocking.(Which I assume you will be.)

Don't get cybertron PCs especially, they are usually overpriced. A gt740 is not a really good dedicated GPU also. Please say you only used 450 or less.

My i5 6500 is bad and can't even maintain 4.5ghz, and 4.4ghz causes it to slowly become unstable over weeks with a vcore of 1.395. FML

Thanks for the info. Do you think that the i5 4690k would be better over the AMD FX8300? Do you think that a modular PSU, say a CoolerMaster v750/v850 would be sufficient for overclocking and for 2 AMD r9 380x's in crossfire? Do you recommend the ASUS SABERTOOTH for a motherboard since they are SLI/CrossFire ready (i also want to do some minor-medium overclocking, minor on the graphic cards, medium on the CPU)?

If you mean the price, I got it on sale for 630, and I do regret getting the gt740, it can barely run Dead Island: Riptide on EXTREMELY low settings.

4690k over 8300 for sure. As long as you stay I'd say at least 200 watts over what pcpartpicker est. you'll need, you should be good. I'm impartial on mobos, so you'll have to get another's opinion. Overclocking will work on any Z board.

What do you mean by z board? So a v750 PSU from CoolerMaster will be good.
