Does Windows 10 Support 5k?

Windows 8 and 7 only seem to support up to 4k/UHD. Does windows 10 support 5k? Also, if I set it to 2.5K/QHD, will it scale properly like Mac OS X?

scaling would be fine. And windows does not natively support it but it will upconvert the resolution to work on a 5k monitor.

Windows 10 supports up to 8K (7680x4320) display, so it is ready for the future of display technologies.

Yes, Dell has a 5K monitor. It requires 2x DisplayPort cable to drive it.

Has 99% AdobeRGB coverage and 100% sRGB, so it is a wide gamut monitor. It is also a TRUE 10-bit IPS panel (those are rare in the consumer market).

Once you use a high res monitor, you never go back. Anything below 200PPI in a desktop monitor hurts my eyes because its so blurry. And I mentioned Mac os x, I own a 5k imac.

I agree. I have a 4K monitor at work, and I can't look at a 30inch 2560x1600 monitor. Even 24inch 1920x1200 (true 8-bit IPS panel) is borderline OK, and that is probably because that is what I have at home and used to for so long, but it doesn't look as good at my Surface Pro 2 1080p screen. High-DPI for the win.

People don't realize, that is like smartphones. There is a reason why people prefer high resolution screen on such a small screen size on there phone, and not something like 480x800.
