I've restored windows, changed power supplies, ran memcheck for 36 hours, and RMA'd my gpu. I've had this problem for a few months now. Just quit on me while writing a college application and I lost all my work. (shout-out to college applications not using google docs). But, I digress. This is what the error is when I check the event logs. My last guess would be the cpu is overheating because when I start up the computer again, the cpu fan sounds like a jet turbine. But I have no clue why it wouldn't be trying to cool it down before windows shuts itself down.

Anyways, Thanks. I really didn't want to bother anyone with this on a forum but it's my last hope.

The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

Did you put too much thermal goop? Just an uncooked grain of rice (how many times have you heard Linus say that?). You only need just enough to interface between the heatsink and the integrated heat spreader. If you use too much, you actually cause resistance to the heat.
