CPU thoughts

iceburger

Hello there, so I started my PC build for a while now, already got the PSU and the Case, now the next step is the CPU, Mobo and RAM. At first, I was gonna go with the FX 6300, but after a while I realised that it would be better to invest in a better "future-proof" CPU, which is why I extended my CPU-RAM-Mobo budget to a maximum of $330. Note that I live in Romania and prices differ very much. To that $350, I was thinking of getting an ASUS H110M-A DDR4 Mobo, an Intel i5 6400 and one stick of Hyperx Fury 8gb 2133Mhz RAM. That all got me to around $350. Please, if anybody has a better idea of how to invest that $350 into the 3 components, I will be more than happy to listen. Please don't say to extend my budget even further, because I have already done that by far and I can't possibly extend any more.

Thanks in advance for your help!

So if I would get like an MSI B85-G41 PC MATE, i5 4460 and 1x8gb HyperX Fury DDR3 Ram, would it be good enough? I plan to pair them with an R9 380/380x

Yeah, I know, though the i5 4460 is more expensive here than the i5 6400, in terms of performance, are they really different?
