Unless you have an image, then unfortunately no. Usually there is a Window 7 backup for 30 days after you upgrade, but if that time is up or you reset your PC, then there's no going back. Look up your motherboard model and download sound drivers, run them in compatibility mode if you have to is your best option.

cant I just get a w7 lisence key and download it off the Microsoft website?

Sure you can, but that costs money. Unless your machine already had Windows on it, which in that case you can use the key on the Microsoft sticker on your chassis.
