I am upgrading because my current laptop can't run games and keep the other prgrams (Chrome, word, etc) I use open in the background without getting really slow. So, I am on a tight budget (500CAD) and I would like upgradable features. I would like to play Skyrim with some mods (is that reasonable at lower settings?). All peripherals are bought already. Is this build okay/could I upgrade anything that would be significant and still stay within budget? I want to purchase my parts today. Thanks!

If this is an entire build... Did you forget the GPU? Also, I don't think this build is gonna be one capable of high res 60FPS gaming xD

Yeah I know it won't be very good settings, I don't expect that. At this price range, is it worth it to get a GPU?

I think it's impossible to be able to get a GPU. Also, that's impossible, your CPU won't be able to handle skyrim on low settings with good enough frame rate. The built-in GPU is only meant for loooking at a screen and webpages, word, powerpoint. Nothing near like gaming, so I'm telling you, it'll be impossible to play skyrim alone, never mind mods.
