yup, I like it  B)

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

Awesome thanks! By the way, when I put this list into PC Part Picker it says there may be compatibility issues with the m.2? Should I be worried about that?

  • The motherboard M.2 slot #0 shares bandwidth with SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports. When the M.2 slot is populated, two SATA 6Gb/s ports are disabled.

It just means that you won't be able to use all of the sata ports.  Are you planning on having like 6+ drives? If not, no worries :)

I guess we need the OP's decision now.  Do you want one massive quite good SSD, or an even faster, smaller SSD and a bulk storage drive?  Also, how much do you love that Maximus?

Your M.2 drive is PCIe X4. Don't worry about that.

Haha.. ya I was debating on putting in a massive ssd but It seems to get pretty expensive (May still go for it though). I think the Maximus is a sweet looking board... not sure how it runs though lol

The Maximus runs just like all other high-end boards, and you can get a similar-looking board with a similar look (Asus Z170-A) for a lot less.
