Hello!

Im planning on changing my case to allow for my new graphics card to fit!

 

I was wondering what the best way is to get rid of static charge before building! Hopefully making it so I dont destroy any of my parts :)

 

I have read certain ways to get rid of static charge is to touch the light switch as that is grounded or to touch the metal part of the case while plugged into the wall but having the power supply turned off!

Whichever is easiest for you to build and touch the PSU.

How long would you recommend touching the PSU every time? 5 - 10 seconds? or what

Just tap it ever few minutes or so.

If you aren't wearing sweatpants socks and a hoodie on carpet you don't really have anything to worry about. I have never fried anything from static build up in myself.
