Software Crimson causing BSoD

Yesterday, I installed the new drivers from amd. I used DDU to remove the previous AMD driver and installed software crimson. After a smooth installation process, I decided to look around Radeon Control. But every time I click on the gaming tab, my PC blue screens, giving the error code: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (atikmdag.sys). Does anyone know why this is happening, and a way to fix it?

Turn off your GPU adapter in the device manager. Uninstall the driver again with DDU and reinstall the previous driver of AMD and then update to the new driver without uninstalling the old one again.

Nope. I tried that just now, and I still have the same problem. I haven't tried gaming after installing the new update, but it seems even watching youtube videos will cause it to blue screen.

Reinstall the old drivers and don't update it tothe new one.

the current list of dead cards is as follows 2 evga gtx 980ti acx 2.0 , 1 evga gtx 980 acx 2.0 1600mhz core 2100mhz ram golden chip card ... failed hardcore , 1 290x that caught fire , 1 hd 7950 .
