Can I get an Win 10 ISO to a USB drive without using the Media Creation Tool? Or is the only way to get a Windows 10 ISO to a USB drive via the tool?

There are other ways, such as downloading the ISO via a torrent then using Rufus to put it on a stick, but that's the only way. I don't think the ISO is listed on any other sites.

I'm on Vista and they let me straight download the ISO. Should I just do that and drop it into my USB Drive?

Yeah, I don't see why there would be a problem doing that?

Sweg I just needed to know if I just drag and drop the ISO I already have into the USB Drive if that would work or I would have needed to do something else

Oh. sorry I didn't read what you said right.

You will need to use a program such as Rufus to create a bootable media.

You can also download the ISO from Windows website, and use a software to''burn'' the ISO and make the USB a booteable flash drive

Sorry for bugging you NTFS or FAT32 for file system?

Whichever it selects for you, I know when I used it, it would automatically set a file format and wouldn't let me change it either way.

Should be NTFS, I think.

The media creation tool allows you to create an ISO, Upgrade or USB Flash Drive bootable disk. Theres one that only allows you to upgrade i know that but the other one allows you to do all three.
