I am looking for a decent looking smartwatch that isn't insanely expensive (around a $200 limit). Right now my top picks are the Zenwatch 2 and the Samsung Gear s2. My only reservation about the Samsung watch is that it doesn't run android wear, so I don't see it getting any app support from 3rd parties, and I kind of assume the watch will be completely obsolete in a year. Any suggestions?

The ZenWatch 2 is excellent for the money.

Get a pebble. Most smartwatches seem amazing until you realize you still need a phone in your pocket! I feel the whole reason for a smart watch is to have like an iPod strapped to my wrist that can text people and count steps but still needed a phone seems pointless as you can do everything and then some from the thing 5 inches away from your wrist
