Deciding between gpus

I am faced with an ultimatum. I can either purchase a b stock evga gta 970 for 250USD right now, or wait till Friday to see if the deals will be any lower. The issue is the b stock cards may be out of stock or they may come back. Do you think on Friday a gtx 970 will be lower than 250-ish? I'd rather buy new but the best current deal is 300

get an r9 390 instead, unless if you can find a 970 for 220 or something

alright. the 970 for 250 sounds great, i mean i doubt itll get any cheaper and even if it does itll be by 20 dollars at the most and be difficult to obtain

Buying one from EVGA is what I'd recommend doing. I really don't see that card getting any lower than it already is, at least not with the aftermarket coolers.

But I'm risking that on black friday it will still be in stock wont I? They were out of stock for a while and I was just notified theyre back

No risk really, except your time if you get a DOA (like with any product).

 

Their B-stock consists of scratched or dinged devices but are fully functional. They also come with a shorter warranty - I think it's a year? They'll still replace it within that time frame no matter what, like usual.

hmm if your buying online you could possibly try Thursday or get up super early on the Friday?

It would have to be at 12 midnight on friday since i work the next day. I just dont want to wait for a new one and miss out on a good deal, or buy a used one for the price of a new one
