Go ahead and get it. You won't really notice the difference between it and other higher tiered ssds.

I wouldn't recommend getting an ssd just for games though.

Hey guys. Is the Samsung 840 240GB SSD good? Only reason am asking is because it's going very cheap for a 240GB SSD or am i better off getting a getting a more higher end SSD but in 128GB? Only reason i am asking is because i just bought a GTX 780 so i am on a bit of a budget.

The 840 is great, and it would take a side-by-side comparison to really feel a difference. Go 240GB 840.
