So after spending about 5 hours modding skyrim (that includes enabeling, and disabeling all mods, a few times and then relizing that it was the official HD texturepack that was causing the problem) i ended up with this

2015-11-24_00002.jpg

It might look okay, but the thing i wanted so bad in skyrim this time around was a really nice looking ENB config, but as you can see, there are no bright colors in this screenshot, as many other screenshots/videos show

maxresdefault.jpg

I have realvision ENB with fantasy settings enabeled

I just installed it via nexus mod manager

Also, when i press the "vanila vision button" (scroll lock) nothing happens, which is a sign that something went wrong

Please help and tell me what i did wrong

I think some if not all ENBs require you to run an installer separate from anything NMM does. Did you read all the instructions for installation?

with realvision you are suppose to run an installer in the skyrim folder. you are also suppose to get d3d9.dll and enbhost.exe

but then its not automatic, its like semi-automatic

And i thought nexus mod manager would make it easier for me to mod skyrim this time around

LOL... is it so difficult to move some files into skyrim folder and run an exe?

So did you do all the RV_launcher.exe shit?

Yeah, launched it and pressed install and change skyrim.ini, just to be sure that it wasnt the problem

I guess i will have to play around with the files a little then

If the installer said like "automatic, but you still have to move these files" then it wouldnt be that hard, but if you still have to read through the whole install instructions of a mod to get it working, and do that for every mod, just to be sure that they also doesnt lie about it being installed automatically, then you might as well do it manually

Although ive come too far to go back now

yes with that mod iirc you install through nexus and then go run the exe. ive used the enb before.

ENBs are different than normal mods. Did you download the d3d9.dll and enbhost.exe and put them into the Skyrim folder before installing RealVIsion through NMM?

And don't forget that if you want it to look exactly like the mod creator's you'll need to install the sleugh of other mods he listed.

I just wanted the shaders, because my graphic card cant support all of those mods without 40 fps

Gotcha. Well did you do the d3d9 and enbhost stuff? That's crucial to my knowledge.

I seem to have made it work by grabbing the binary files from the enb website, and a few other things, but now i get a blackscreen

Although i think whats causing this is my mod loadorder

Thanks all, apparantly the reson why i got a black screen was because the game was loading instead of displaying the intro (it took about 30 seconds for it to load though), and my impatience resulted im me thinking it had crashed

The game looks 200 times better now

Here is a comparison
