Help! Even though my monitor is 1366x768 it only displays 1280x1024

When I try to change it to my native resolution, windows wont let me because my native res is not there.

 

Any ideas, Come on guys having a stretched monitor is not funny.

Install video card drivers

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

Its the exact same monitor as the last one i used same resolution, same model number but as soon as I changed from on monitor to this one it would not let me use the native res

Umm, something weird happened, when I switched displayport the res went back to native... Im ok now

i had the problem with an old monitor - it wasn't supported anymore by the os
