SSD: Samsung 850 Evo 250GB

HDD: WD Blue 500GB

I've read this thread to know which PSU I should get..

And basing from the availability and pricing here in my country (PH).

The cheapest ones will be Seasonic.

I've also read this thread for me to know how many watts I do need and it says there that 500W should be enough.

And I also learned that Haswell has to be compatible with the PSU if I want to take advantage of its features..

I am rooting to get the ECO series 500W. The cheapest one which is around $48. The question is..

Am I making the right decision? And is it compatible with Haswell?

PSU shouldnt really cost under 60$, as it is the heartbeat of your computer, you dont want to buy a cheap piece of shit and risk ruining your system.

Price has nothing to do with that. You can grab an XFX TS 650W Gold-rated PSU for 40$ right now in the US. It's an excellent unit manufactured by SeaSonic

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT 16GB GDDR6 Motherboard: MSI PRESTIGE X570 CREATION
AIO: Corsair H150i Pro RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 32GB 3600MHz DDR4 Case: Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic PSU: Corsair RM850x White

Evga makes Great PSU, Yet The NEX is a POS in most systems. There are Cheap low end models for low end use which is what that seasonic looks to be, and the Mid and high tier PSU. Low end costs usually less than 50, mid is about less than 80, and higher is generally higher than the 85+, Could deals and other things bring the pricies down? Sure it happens quite a bit, but generally the base price or the usual price.

Yes the next Is a piece of shit (POS)... Also the base price of that PSU was around 70$, which falls under my category of Mid tier PSU which are not bad at all at their price values with only a few components used such as 1 cpu and 1 gpu.
