Hi all.

 

There is an r9 290 that does this

Do you have any idea why it is doing that? It runs normally when it is not doing any 3d rendering but it starts to glitch under load... Sometimes it works for 10 mins.

 

//edit: It is not my card so I can't really tell anything!

 

Is this a heat issue? Or what could it be? It's an xfx stock cooler card.

My friend who just got a 290x had the same issue. Try the other bios setting with the bios switch and maybe switch drivers if you're using beta drivers. If that doesn't work try raising the aux voltage in afterburner to force more voltage going to the vram. Many 290x's had memory issues
