Newegg Tutorials are so useless.

I was watching some of their old "How-To-Build" videos just as a refresher to make sure my knowledge on building PC's is still top notch, and I get to the part where they talk about the front LED lights and USB ports etc etc on the mobo, and I'm wanting to watch them do it and explain it, and they just go "so we'll see you after we do this" and skip over it.

Sorry I needed to rant about how useless newegg is.

Haha, I think that's how Linus got his start at NCIX - but his videos were more comprehensive.  Either that or I knew enough about the subject matter to not feel like I missed something...

Sometimes the shots of them plugging it in while in a case is hard to capture. That may very well be the reason why they don't show it.

Yeah but at the very least they could've tried. I mean they didn't even bother showing you what kind of pins to deal with they just went all Shia Lebouf on me.

Linus' build logs are still great...  You could watch those. He even talks about the polarity of the fron switches/LED's like in every build log lol

I like linus and all but imo the best building tutorial is the one by austin. Very clear and to the point.
