Stop auto starting a WU

Go to solution Solved by tobben,

Haven't tried this myself, but if you go into the advanced client, configure in top left corner

then the slot tab. Click on the slot in question, then click edit, go to the bottom and click add

on slot options. I assume the name will be pause-on-start and the value will be true/false.

Add that and it should automatically pause the slot whenever the client is launched, meaning

the slot will no longer automatically start whenever the client restarts.

Alternatively you can pause the slot after it has finished a wu with the "finish" option, or just

remove folding@home from the list of programs that are automatically launched whenever

the computer is booted.

So I intentionally didn't start a new WU after my last one because it wasn't worth it tonight. But I had updates and rebooted, causing a new WU to auto start. Now it will stay there and lose points overnight since I always turn off my PC. (I'm one of those)

How do I prevent this from happening?
