upgrading my cpu/comp

hey guys im thinking of upgrading my cpu and according to passmark the i7 4930k is almost up to par with the new skylake im upgrading from a 4790 non k... is that a good upgrade to make? and also with that i dont want to use the stock cooler so what cooler should i use? im thinking noctua??
