Is this unfair?

Well basically i do tech support for my parents and get paid £100 a month. Now heres the catch: i can only use it when necessary, and most is saved up for "university" crap. The only reason my parents are making me use it to buy a  new phone is because my M4 Aqua nearly bruned me, and they dont want to pay for it as well. Is this unfair?  Also, i can only get phones under £300, so a OnePlus Two is my only option

What your parents are doing there is very good and you will thank them when you get to university. I don't know your reqirements for a phone, but the Oneplus isn't your only option in that price bracket. There's the Zenphone 2 for example, or the motoG

If they bought the phone, it's not fair that you have to pay for it, but if you caused it to, which I don't know how you could do that unless the lithium was exposed to the air, then it's fair. They bought a faulty phone, they should pay for a new one.

Nope it is a CPU fault. and they kinda forced me to upgrade my phone

OP is getting money to go to uni in a savings account ready for his education so he doesn't struggle yet is crying over buying a fucking phone. People like OP is the reason I rent my own flat for university instead of living in student halls with complete and utter retards who cannot function without mommy, daddy and a bottle of vodka every weekend instead of food, water and clothing.
