If an AIO says its compatible with socket AM3, will it work on a AM3+ socket?

Thats what i thought, but i wanted to be sure since i had just bid on one on ebay.

With coolers, there's always a way. I once got an FX 9590 and wanted to move its included CoolerMaster watercooler to an Intel Core i7 950 processor which I had in another PC. Unfortunately, AMD doesn't include any Intel mounting brackets with that included watercooler. So, I ended up making custom brackets using some metal I had lying around in the garage, and it fits no problem. All you need is imagination!
