Is it possible to set my ssd as a boot drive, and then like have all my files on the HDD, like all the "my music" , "downloads" folders etc. on the HDD?? And IF it is possible would you recommend it?

Yes. Just right click documents > properties > location and change its location to the hard drive. Do this for music, pictures, downloads, etc as well.
