I fixed it by uninstalling and re installing the client, thanks guys! :D

I am trying to download TF2 and when I go to the page it only says play game? And there is no option to download? HELP!

Restart your computer. I had this issue with war thunder. I also had to uninstall war thunder non steam edition.

Desk: monitors 3x Asus VE248h(eyefinity), Keyboard Cm Strom Trigger(mx red), Mouse Corsair m65, Headset Audio Technica ATH-M50

That's odd. Have you tried restarting the client?

Did you try going into your Steam Library and right clicking on Team Fortress 2 and "Delete Local Content" button and try downloading it again?

Go to library, select Team Fortress 2 and with right click force update.
