Would a computer that works fine with a GT 610 but restarts mid game with a 750ti have a power supply issue if said computer is an OEM one?

Is a restart when under load a common PSU issue symptom?

If you didn't lower the voltage then that won't make much of a difference. Sounds like you have a shitty OEM PSU that's degraded over time.
