Measuring fan size?

Go to solution Solved by W-L,

Think I may have to replace a fan in a case at our office, but I can't remember which tower I bought when I built the things so I don't remember what the fan sizes were. I'm guessing it's just a case of measuring across the actual blades and not the frame for it, but I'm not sure. It does just look like a 120mm, but if I get the wrong size it's pretty much just gonna end up sitting unused.

Basically measure from one side of the frame to the other it should give you an exact size.
