600W big enough?

Go to solution Solved by alexhelvetica,

600w Should be fine, be fine but not using that PSU .

I currently have a CX600 PSU and was wondering if I would need to upgrade my psu to be able to handle a new i7 6700k. I would be upgrading my motherboard to a msi gaming M7. Is there any thing else I should consider before upgrading?

My current setup is:

MSI GTX 980 Twin Frozr (1590Mhz OC)

ASUS Z87-C

CX600

8GB Corsair Vengeance RAM

i5 4670k

Corsair H60

Kingston 128GB SSD

Seagate 1TB HDD

Corsair 300R Case

Not so much concerned about the budget but wanted to make sure there was a bit of "future proofness" to it.

Might be upgrading to add another 980 in SLI in the future when the prices drop.
