a got a "Windows 7 Home Premium" "for refurbished pc's" <-- does that mean i cant use it on a pc im going to build? it also says this "The refurbisher must have preinstalled the software on the PC" <-- what does that mean? also do i just install this and then just download and buy games, or do i need to download DOSbox or steam or something. please helppost-287361-0-70524700-1448124739.jpg

If it doesn't come with a disc, that may explain why it says the software needs to be installed on the system already. The key itself should work just fine.

there is a fancy disk in it. also found it says this "This software has been preinstalled and there is a special license for PC's that have been refurbished." dont know much about this. i'll get a build like this http://pcpartpicker.com/p/BghQkL and i have the disk. what else do i need? steam?

Do you have a PC that you could insert the disc into(and boot off of it) to see what kind of menu you get?

it also say "the enclosed media is for back up purposes only. your pc has two COA labels; one from the original license the pc manufacturer and one from the pc's refurbisher. "

I've never used software for refurbished systems, so I cannot answer it definitively, but my guess is it'll install just like any other copy of W7.
