Hello guys! I'm very new to PC building and this forum and i am still learning, i seem to know a decent amount about the components, and the functions but i do not know which brands are best, which give you more bang for your buck, etc... Does this seem like a good build? what can you guys recommend that i change, or that is better for a lower price, etc. Thanks! btw, i have all the fans for the Phantom and the main purpose for this PC is Gaming but i want it ready for everything and anything because its also gonna be my college PC....

Any ideas or opinions??? Please have mercy on me hahaha xD

Well my budget is at 1700$ and it is a little flexible, ok! ill check those Video cards and Motherboards right now, but one question, isn't that a ASUS board?? ok, ill look for a lower PSU, thanks!

That CPU is a 1155 socket CPU, and that motherboard only has 1150 socket. So get a motherboard with a 1155 socket, or replace the 3570K with a 4670K. I recommend getting the 4670K.

CPU: RYZEN 5 2600   Motherboard: MSI B450I GAMING PLUS AC   Memory: CORSAIR VENGEANCE LPX 16GB 3200MHZ   Storage: TEAM GROUP MP33 1TB

GPU: EVGA GTX 1070 FTW   Case: COOLER MASTER NR200P   PSU: CORSAIR SF600   Mouse: G PRO WIRELESS   Keyboard: ANNE PRO 2

ok, well, i added the i5 4670k and took out the other CPU and changed the EVGA for the AMD 7970. any other suggestions??? And thanks again! You guys saved me from making a big mistake.

Are you bringing this with you for college? You should really invest in a smaller case if you are.

4GB GTX 760 is a bad idea. Get a 7950 3gb or even a 7970. Add a samsung 120gb evo ssd. get lower 650 w psu.

8GB ram is plenty for gaming.

I'd suggest getting a cheaper motherboard, that board is overkill for this build & a mid tower rather than a full tower.

Something like this:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU:  Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($199.99 @ Microcenter)
Motherboard:  Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($159.99 @ Newegg)
Memory:  Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory  ($71.35 @ Amazon)
Storage:  Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" Solid State Disk  ($104.99 @ NCIX US)
Storage:  Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($62.99 @ NCIX US)
Video Card:  Gigabyte Radeon HD 7970 3GB Video Card  ($333.98 @ Newegg)
Case:  Fractal Design Define R4 w/Window (Black Pearl) ATX Mid Tower Case  ($89.99 @ Newegg)
Power Supply:  Corsair Professional 650W 80 PLUS Gold Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply  ($124.98 @ Newegg)
Optical Drive:  Samsung SH-224BB DVD/CD Writer  ($29.94 @ Adorama)
Total: $1178.20
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

I'd also suggest an aftermarket CPU cooler (didn't include in the above).

CPU: i5 4690K  CPU Cooler: Corsair H100   Motherboard: Gigabyte Z97X UD3H   Memory: G.Skill (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866   Storage: Samsung 830 Series 128GB 2.5" SSD/Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM   GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti SC 2GB   Case: Cooler Master CM 690 II (Black) ATX Mid Tower   PSU: CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650M 650W 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified   Optical Drive: MSI DH-24AAS-17 R DVD/CD Writer   Operating System: Windows 10 Pro (64 bit)

Cool beans! :)  Don't forget a good aftermarket CPU cooler, along with the build, something like a Corsair H100i should do you well.

I don't know a lot about AMD cards but I do know the 7970 is a very good card and you should be able to max or near max all current games.

If you're willing to wait for about a month the new 9000 series cards from AMD will be coming out at the end of next month.

ok :D and a question that Radeon 7970, how much can it push?? its gonna work really well for almost all games right??

The 7970 can max out almost everything at 1080p.
