100 Degree torture test

100*C is max so expecting shut downs

Should I do a Prime95 torture test for 24 hours if the its running at 100o  or would that damage the CPU?

Well, you shouldn't, damage could ensue, and if the cooler is sufficient the CPU shouldn't even reach 100 degrees.

I heard at 100 degrees your PC will shut down, or malfunction.

What CPU? Chances are high it will just shut down at that point.

ALso, if it's an Intel CPU: Prime95 is not recommended.

Been playing on a laptop for 6 years, I play Dota 2 with 10fps. Some might say this is impossible, I say its just annoying

Yeah, Prime95 is not recommended with that CPU.

And 100 degrees C is not recommended with any CPU really. I would say go for MAX 90, but I would try to keep it under 85.

Haswell & prime95 is not recommended as it'll increase the voltage more than orb should same with the loads it's highly unrealistic.
