I'm planning on getting my friend a bare kit or something along the line of that . Any one know any good LIGHT gaming builds and little bit of video editing builds . Trying to keep the budget 300$ . He's an noob in video editing and noob in gaming but I just want a decent fast build so he can play games , watch YouTube and such. Please Lmk thanks all :))

How light? What games?

 

Could pick up a used Dell Optiplex with a Core 2 Quad and then throw a low power (and low profile) GPU into it. Maybe also pick up some more used RAM. Would most likely need a HDD and OS as most are old office PC's and the HDD's are pulled prior to sale. Would probably get you by better then anything else you could build for under $300.
