Ram frequency differences

remove the 1 stick, The fast ram will lower to the speed of the slow ram (Tried to make it simple)

I have 3 sticks of DDR3 RAM currently installed into my gaming computer and was wondering that since one of the sticks is 1gb with a low frequency (not entirely sure what but its around 1000mhz) whereas the other 2 are 4gb with 1866mhz, is the 1gb stick worth keeping in or does it take away performance considering the frequency is a lot lower than my performance gaming ram?
