Windows 10 Woes

Every time I try to go to the properties of a folder, they don't open and windows explorer crashes, going back to windows 7 it works fine, but then going to windows 10 I have the same issue. HELP ty

Was this a clean install or did you upgrade from something else?

Just throwing this out there but windows has a built-in "refresh" utility that just about re-installs the OS while leaving files and settings be.

Might end using it.

With issues like this, doing a windows "Refresh" after the upgrade is pretty much the only option.

Go back to Win7, i hate windows 10, it's slow, unreliable, laggy, the only good feature is DX12

you can try running a system file check and defrag.
sound silly but this has worked for my a couple off times.

 

run CMD as admin then type "sfc /scannow"  (with no quote marks) to do a system file check

Use the guide in my GUIDES section of my signature and do a reinstall of Windows. I had the same problems you did, weird stuff happening. Reinstall fixed it right up. YAY windows and your awesome upgrade features.
