Yep, sorry another Battlefront thread.

Just bought it today and can't get past the 'click return button to start' screen, get screen lock which is pink and white, and eventually says some sort of direct X error.

Yes I'm below the minimum hardware requirements, in the graphics department, I only have a HD6950 2gb, so 1 gen of cards off the minimum.

Rest of my system is a MSI M power X99 board, I7 5820k, 16gb ddr4 2133mhz ram, onboard sound,2x ssds, and running Windows 10, and current gpu drivers, which work fine with Attila total war (that's the only other game I play at the moment).

So I suppose I'm asking, has anyone with same card been able to run the game?

Or is it time to upgrade gpu, was hoping to wait till Arctic/ Pascal, mid 2016.

Thanks for any feed back.

Uhh.. It's time to upgrade now. Like, what were you thinking with that CPU/GPU combo?

Also, update your drivers to 15.11.1 BETA, that's supposed to fix some issues.

I'd upgrade now if you have the cash to shell out for a high to top tier card (fury, 980ti etc) if not wait

Also update drivers  ;)

Lol, yeah combination of life factors meant rolling the old gpu into new computer for a while, till i decided which gpu and scraped together the cash.

Plus I feel current gpu offerings are a waste of time to the $ ratio in Australia at the moment, which made me lean towards waiting for 2016s offerings.

I don't normally trust using Beta drivers, plus thought perhaps they were more for the newer gpu, given mine is, what 6 years old?

They aren't really beta, they are just drivers that haven't got a WHQL licence yet, there is no harm what so ever using them.
