My friend wants to build a new computer. After loookibg up everything, we got a gr8 deal but then we found a even better one.

Is skylake worth the prize? And does it perform better for gaming?

Yes. The Option1 is a 4690k, gtx970 custom build i made. Dont have a speclist right here but can get it later today

if it is between X99 and Z170 i would pick the X99 any day. with very little amount of cash difference i would pick a whopping 7 MB of cache difference and 2 extra cores between the entry level X99 chip 5820K vs the 6700K

 

entry level X99 is better than high end Z170 and will retain more value once you decide to sell i guess

What X99? It is between Z97 and Z170.
