Judging from what you saw from the title. 
Yes, I have a legacy system.

 

My College has Microsoft DreamSpark Program and I wanted to know will this motherboard INSTALL Windows 10 Pro using an IDE ODD?

 

Since I saw in Scrapyard Wars that they are able to use Windows 10 on old motherboards.

If you download the ISO, and put it on a disk, and the system has windows 7+ on it

Or you buy the disk for $100.

Actually, I already have the ISO and burned the image on to a DVD and it doesn't work. :/ (doesn't boot from motherboard)

Then I tried using my friend's Windows 7 Ultimate and his 8.1 Pro DVDs(don't worry he's rich all legit he use it for work) and only Windows 7 disk gets booted to installation.

 

Will an USB drive boot from it?

do you have a SATA DVD drive?

 

use Rufus to create a bootable USB drive instead

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

Nope, the SATA ODD I had was just a loaner from my Aunt's PC.(she wanted it back eventually)

Just got back from the shop and bought a 16 GB Sandisk Ultra USB 3.0 Flash Drive.

 

Whew, I hope this works.

I'll get back to you guys after it works or not.

oh yea i forgot that the iso is bigger then a cd/dvd so it wont work...
