Focoux - I would love to help you out, but I need a bit more information.

Please fill this out

What will they be for (music or gaming)?

What is your budget?

What is your source? (Do you have an amp or DAC, if so what is it)

they both do different things nicely, get them both? I've got the m50 and ad700 regular.

which is better car or truck? car is faster good on gas and more agile truck is rugged can carry things and tow things and do off road things

both cans serve different audio duties.

They would be for Gaming(FPS)/Movies/Music(not as much).

My budget is abt USD200

I don't have a amp/DAC yet. Looking at the Fiio E10 as highly recommended by the folks here.

You don't need an amplifier for the M50's or the AD700x's since they both have low impedance.

For your budget, and what you are doing, I would recommend the ATH-AD900x's for now, and work on getting an amplifier/DAC in the future.

I've personally had them, and they are great for games because of the open design, you will be able to hear what is around you better than a closed set of cans like the M50's.

Now, with most open headphones, the bass does not "kick" hard. Which isn't really important for gaming, but if you are looking for Bass, checkout the DT880's with a good amplifier, but this will be out of your budget.

Here's what I would get -

The 900X is USD350 where I am. Which is preposterous and unjustifiable. What's the diff between the 700X & 900X? I don't see any diff except for an extra 5kHz freq..looks identical. 53mm drivers as well.

And because the 900X is USD350'ish, I'd rather get the DT880 lol

Thanks alot for ur input!

Edit:I'll be heading to Japan, I'll get the 900X there. Much cheaper too. Might I ask why 900X tho?

I was not aware of the currency situation.

The 900x is just an overall upgrade of the 700x in a few area's. Do a google search and you will find the differences.

That website doesn't have any good headphones for the money, they look pretty overpriced.

Don't forget our website ships internationally for reasonable rates (around $25 USD).

If you must buy from that website, the 700x is your best option, I wouldn't get anything else from that website, unless you can find a place that ships oversea's.

Pls select something u'd suggest here. This is in SGD currency.

Get a ATH-WS99 from Amazon, around 250USD & they are the next evolution in bass.

I tried all of them out @Stereo and if you're looking for bass, they are the ones to get. M50's aren't worth it here at the price imo.
