Destroy HDD Data?

Hi, I'd like to donate an old computer, please can someone tell me of a boot disc that I can burn to a disc so I can securly destroy the data on the hard drive before donating the machine.

Look around online for a program that can flood your hdd with 0's. It's how you erase the data on it.

Get a drill and drive holes into the HDD.

It sounds like the drive needs to be working so it can be re-used ;)

Ccleaner has builtin tool for that.

 

Simple and easy.

 

Ccleaner -> Tools -> Drive Wiper!
