Board manufacturers are now releasing new BIOSs for the G3258. Check for the most recent one.

According to the CPU support list for that Asus board, the G3258 is "supported" with BIOS (2001). So it should work OK out of the box. Also, there appears to be an update tool offered that they recommend using to update the BIOS with for 4th gen CPUs.

Btw, the "m" on the name of the designation is simply the mATX version of the board.
