I have a WD Cabiar blue 500GB 7,200rpm and it was running smoothly. A few days ago the windows start up was so slow like about 7-8 minutes...now every time it needs this time but as soon as i log in the programms and all the files are loaded in 1-2 minutes(as before). Also when i press the star button the first time it loads the Motherboard and then the screen goes black in 1024x768 but in 1920x1080 it is writing some things with red letters. Any solution?? Is my HDD broken?? (i can take a screenshot of the red letters)

Use a program called crystaldiskinfo to check the drive's health

~snip~

Hey there PaNdRaGoN,

What do the things say that come up on the screen? Can you boot to your OS?
I would recommend connecting that drive to an already working PC and running some diagnostic tools. I would recommend using WD Data Lifeguard Diagnostic: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=72nPJj
Are any extraordinary sounds coming from the drive (clicking, humming, buzzing)?

Hello Captain_WD. I can boot to my OS and I used WD Data Lifeguard Diagnostic but nothing happened..all the same. I can take a screenshot of these red letters and i will try to connect it to another PC as well. Not any sounds coming from the drive.
