Which drive?

Hi, currently I can afford to buy either wd green 3tb or wd red 2tb. I live in Malaysia so the price are very high, 410 for green and 365 for red. This drive will be use mainly for movies sharing in my pc at uni. Will be using hfs to share. This drive will probably be on all the time even while i'm sleeping cause others wont sleep at the same time. I do have 1tb green currently which is almost full.

Buy a Seagate Barracuda, they are much cheaper and are essentially the same thing.

For raid: red.

I'd second what Cacao said, however you said that the drive will be used 24/7 so i'd probably suggest Red's, I'm not sure if the Greens are rated for that level of use.
