you have 2 choices really, 860K + 390, or i5 + 380

From this test you can see that an A8 7650K(basically the same as an 860K) paired with a 290x, actually ties with the i5 in a number of games and gets over 60fps, but generally speaking the i5 is faster and will net you higher average fps in games that utilize the CPU more, while the 390 will let you bump up the resolution higher, and upgrading your CPU down the road, can cost less than upgrading your GPU.
