Front panel connectors

Ok after spending 2 hours trying every god forsaken combination of ways to do these front panel connectors, literally the only thing I could get to post on my msi h81m p33 was the power led, does anyone have any idea what is wrong? I have followed the Manual on the correct ways to do it and then the power led did not even post...

Take them all out, start the computer by shorting the power on sw to check the mobo is ok, then add them one by one and test to see if they work.

If you make a post contradicting mine that doesn't directly address my claims, or cites 'facts' without evidence, I'm probably not going to bother responding to it, because you probably didn't bother reading my post properly, and because life is too short. It doesn't mean I don't have an answer for you. It means I'm not dignifying you with a response.
