I currently have an fx 6350 with 8gb of ram and a gtx 960, but with the B-Stock evga cards being really cheap I am either upgrading this winter to a r9 390, gtx 970, or gtx 980 depending on whats on sale. will these cards be bottlenecked by my fx processor? if so what Intel cpus would not bottleneck them, but not be super expensive because i am balling on a budget! Thanks

your 960 is already bottlenecked by your processor

I would upgrade that 6350 before doing any other upgrades

It depends on the game, but an FX6350 will hold back those cards in most games. With that said, if you're using a 1080p 60hz monitor, it may not matter too much anyways (depending on the game/s of course).

and i5/i7/E3 1231 would be good upgrades.
