Constant 60fps (Posible?)

Go to solution Solved by 0x1e,

Well yeah that caps it but it can still go under. Im talking about something that would boost it enogught to get to 60fps and cap it.

Buying / building a computer capable of holding 60fps is what you'll need to do.

Yes you can overclock it, however overclocks do show their age year by year. It's far better to just build the better machine and overclock when needed, rather than needing to overclock it from day one.

Once you've done that then capping it at 60fps is piss easy.

Hey I was wondering, I'm building my self a new PC since my old ass macbook obviusly can't run most games (fallout 4.) But one of the things ive noticed while playng games on this laptop like csgo and half-life, portal... is that all have fps jumps from mabye 80 sometimes to 30 and its very frustrating. I would just like to know if theirs any app or anything that could (for my new PC) cap my fps at 60 but also boost my fps to a constant 60. Im fine with overclocking btw.

V-sync can cap your fps but it adds input lag

V-Sync. It's implemented with almost every single game in the options also known as vertical sync

If your gpu can't hit the v-sync limit there is no way to keep it pinned there. I can keep my system pinned at 60fps because its capable of doing much more than that.

It's not a race to the bottom.
